Things are taking shape quite quickly and already the game plan is taking shape, thanks to spiers for all the help and enthusiastic aproach. He is doing one hell of a job nagging me to get it sorted :) looks like we need some vehicles for this game guys :)

Will get the banner sorted for this one soon Taff, I'll make you feel special and let you pic the name and everything  And yeh vehicles would be superb!

looking at 30 a side but could use more Germans so perhaps 35 of the buggers :) with Brits and U.S at 30 between them :) would prefer more Airborne as the game is set for them, the brits would be a lost band of fighters finding the Airborne and joining up.

Oops... I just realised this clashes with the training weekend for my re-enactment group. Oh well looks like I'll not be joining you!

You'll be lucky to get 30 a side.....

The Far Setting Sun, mine and Gadge's re-enactment group.

However the date still isn't set in stone, so we'll have to see what happens.

I'm not disputing it but what makes you think that?

We've been planning and organising games for just over 2 years now and have generally capped our games at around 30 a side, we usually only just fill those places. With the current financial downturn people are going to have less money so this will affect their ability to book.

Of course, if you're running it as an open day that might change things, but, with the best will in the world, Taffy doesn't get very high numbers as it is and it's not an easy place to get to for many.

Add to that, there are a number of games planned around late-Spring and there you go.

Having said that, I'll be coming.....as a German.
