So, um yeah.

Craig said that someone would lend me kit for this, unless you want a random Airborne in there....

I only need mustards and an M41 jacket really. My Corcorans will have to do for now.

I'm a 34" waist and a 42" chest.

Thanks in advance, and the usual beer tokens to the obliging party.

It's perfectly possible to put leggings over corcorans and for it to look good. The rangers did it... I have a spare pair for you.

I also have a spare rather "gash" pair of wool trousers. I'd suggest getting some from someone else, but if you fail mine are available. There's also some HBTs I'll not be using, but wools would be better.

I don't have a spare M41, but if you fail to get that there's the option of just wearing a shirt anyway.

If you get stuck I've got an 'M43' in a 42 chest. Its actually a French M47 but its pretty close.

M43s are more than acceptable for this event... wait, I'd best go and check that I have not 'contradicted myself' earlier... Nope I'm fine. :D

Leggings - tick, Mustards or HBTs - tick, It's just a jacket, and the M43 from Lardy is hunky dory fine if there are no Others - Dean has quite a bit as he is obviously all German-ed up (but he is also a scarecrow).

I almost expect the punters to be lax with reading the kit restrictions, but people who I know have even copied and pasted them to another forum? :slap:

I have a full set of HBTs and an M40 jacket (similar as M41 but without the epaulettes I believe) Will have to check the sizes.

Ah, well, I have M43s. I'll just whip the 82nd patch off it and I'll be fine.

Now, leggings or bloused trousers??? I assume it'll be leggings if not Airborne right?

why not borrow the Mustards from Rich, and use your M43 Jacket - which would be a nice halfway house (that was common).

OK, OK, I'll stop dressing people up.

lol... my spare mustards are the ones that have so many repairs on them it's not funny... only to be used if desperate, I'd say!

I do have spare M43 trousers though.

If anyone has any spare Jerry kit, I could do with some Y straps and a breadbag for the game.

I can lend the following Jerry kit, if anybody's interested in coming:

Heer HBT tunic and trousers - fits 42 chest, 5' 11" or so, 36" waist. Or Waffen SS wool tunic - but no trousers for that. Someone else might have.
Helmet
Canvas belt & Y-straps
Breadbag, water bottle.
Spade!
MP40 pouches, mags, and MP40.
Gaiters
