Assuming we get the numbers required to run it as such, it will be 'a bit of both'. massively confusing I know but we want the day to work well with what we have, so won't be able to put the precise details of what you need to know in the rules until we have an idea how many we will be catering for.
Yes, assuming that we get enough people, there'll be no need to move start positions artificially. This is helped by the nature of the site.

lol, when I asked about my carbine they didn't even know what 8mm was!
However they're set up for chronoing different weight bbs (except the .36g bbs I was using 
) so assuming that your rifle is under the 350fps limit as converted to the weight of bbs you're using with it then you'll be ok.
last time it was chrono'd it was doing 240ish with .36s
