i have a load of wood kits for sale which i'll be bringing down to patton stalls for people to have a look at and buy if wanted. they are 2 x m14 wood stocks, 1 x m21 sniper rifle wood stock (almost identical to m14) then last of all 2 x mini m14 kits including all the metalwork required to turn your m14 into a ruger mini m14, the A Team gun! very similar to an m1 garand carbine. im offering some of this stuff for sale elsewhere at the moment but am wanting to avoid postage as some of this stuff isnt easy to post. whatever is left will be brought down to the game. some of the m14 kits might be a good start if you are building your own ww2 weapon. the overall quality is nothing special as they were hand made in the philipines but for a ww2 weapon they should do fine. anything sold before the game will be undated on this list if i can. im trying to avoid postage so sales here rather than in the for sale section would be helpfull.-- attachment is not available --

How much? I'd be interested in a wood kit. I actually have the metalwork already...

Sounds pretty good to me.

Will you be at Arnhem, or just at Patton Stalled?

I don't mind taking it and handing it over at Arnhem if you sort out the money before hand. I'm near Bourne, just down the road from FFZ.

Gosberton? I always thought you were more out Crowland way! I'm actually in Rippingale so its more like 10 minutes.

I wish I'd known you had these stocks a little while ago, I used an M14 stock for my SVT and paided alot more than £40. :slap:

Well after a lot of effort the stock is now on my garand. Not a job for the faint of heart, but for the price I'm very happy!

I had to do quite a few mods to it since after all it's an M14 stock not a garand one, and as a result had to redo the finish on it.

The gun certainly looks and feels a lot better now. I'm looking forward to trying it out at Patton!

:good:
