Uniform Requirements

US
US Infantry can wear any variation of M41s, M43s, Wool Shirts and Wool Trousers.
Either Buckle Boots or Roughouts (or any other boot so long as a pair of leggings is worn over them) can be worn.
An M1 helmet must be worn
No badges should be worn on anything

German
Any Heer or SS uniform appropriate for September 1944, with a helmet.

getting into what camo was/wasn't around becomes tedious. So if you can - wear Fieldgrey, because it is loads better.

Weapon Requirements

Any appropriate WWII gun or wood effect rifle.
FPS limits are 350fps (with the usual slight variance) for all weapons (except 'sniper' rifles).
Rifles are ALWAYS preferred if you have the option.

All guns will be chronoed on the morning

Support Weapons
'Support weapons' ie sniper rifles (any rifle firing at over 350 fps) and Machine guns (deployed support weapon, firing at up to 350fps) will be allowed in limited numbers (to start with ONE each per side). Once these slots are booked, then that's it until we reach higher numbers.
If you chose these options you will be ordered to operate appropriately as a Sniper/Machine Gunner respectively, and will be expected to maintain your role throughout the day. You may wish to make sure you have the required support crew if you are manning a machine gun (as they are very heavy if used alone).
Please only use rifle scopes on designated 'sniper' weapons.

The Free French
NO more Free French, as no one loves them. Just US/Jerry to choose from

Boots are no problem at all, and any Heer tunic is fine.

Not wearing the gourget would be good though, so one fits in more with the other infantrymen.

Is Luftwaffe Field Div OK? They were part of the Heer by 44....

Otherwise, just Heer and SS, no FJ?

Not been out in my LWFD stuff for a while and it could do with an outing. Be the best!

Cheers

I managed to get some time last night to dig out all of my US Infantry kit from the Garage!

Is it so hard to believe that my M41 jacket hasn't been worn since Op Alsos?

Wladek likes weak-assed guns. No reflection on him I'm sure.
Whatever happened to that K98 of yours, Craig? The one that wouldn't fire more than one round without having to be returned to the workshop? Be a great weapon for a Seelow Heights game... very realistic.

I think in the scenario you've given you'd have had the ppsh taken off you anyway. It belongs to the army, not to you. :)

The site is mostly close-up fighting, to be honest you really don't want high powered guns in it.
