I've knocked up a PBI banner and avatar surround for anyone to use, they're by no means mandatory, so don't feel you have to change anything, it just saves people reinventing the wheel and making loads of different ones, if they want them!

anyway:

the banner:

and here's the blank PBI member avatar for anyone to use, you'll just need to add in your own picture, pref. in brit kit!

Great idea, Evo old chap! :)

Hmm.... could you find a more.... "dynamic" pic of Brit infantry? They do look a bit feeble! Maybe get some airbourne - they look (and were) dead hard!

What about putting a CiA logo on the banner as well? Would be good for those of us who want to use it on other forums :)

Sorry mate, didn't mean to be critical. Could you maybe incorporate some of the following...? Or those photos Gadge put up were great too.

We probably dont want a cia logo on as we're going to be doing our own games (first one in march next year) and dont really want to confuse things.

Yith and I are not part of the CiA organising team anymore, just forum mods and game players now.

 i know what you mean, i saw the desert charge photo, but as we're primarily NWE it didn't really 'fit', and i've having a complete 'mare trying to find 'dynamic' photos of brits! there's yank photo galleriews

i chose that photo as it shows brits using No. 4's and Thompsons, plus in the foreground there's a bren team. Sadly i had to cut the bren to fit it in!

i'll have a look and see if i can sort anything more 'active!' :D

*EDIT* Anyway, here's the one with your nice airborne shot:

I like the first one. It has a certain dynamic with all the rifles pointing one way. The only really static pose is the Thompson chap - perhaps editing him out might help?

The other airborne photo is OK but everybody knows it and its maybe a bit done to death.

You can't please all the people......

Once we all get some gear and rifles together we could always get together for some photo's and use those.

New banner to take into account CiA board banner limitations:

please use this one instead of the old ones at they're too big..

i'll hope to add some picture variants in the near future but work's a bit mental at the moment.

if you've got any relevant pictures that would shrink down enough and still look good, feel free to post them up here!
