Today a few of us went on a bit of a jolly.
First of all Derby militaria fair for much shopping.. then we went to springfields for more shopping and bargains... lastly we went to the staffordshire regiment museum to research the right holland patch cloth and also get reference pics of original 2nd south staffs kit.

it is yes, i particularly like the south staffs rubber spider, its much better than the prince of wales own regiment of yorkshire spider, which to be honest is a poor specimin. 
All the cases in museums have some kids toy creepy crawlies in them.. its a 'find the insects' type trail to keep very small children amused and not bored while their dads,mums and siblings look at guns and uniforms.

She needs loads of tips Dink, she really keen on it al but just needs a bit of guidance.
We got her some ATS type shoes and seamed tights last week, looking for a reasonable ATS and a reasonable german female uniform now.
Shes in Canada until next wednesday though...
