From the other thread to keep it tidy:

Ok, I've finally managed to tie down a date. It's set for Sunday 6th September at Hilton Park. At the moment, we will have the place to ourselves. If, all of a sudden, loads of paintballers book in, the date may have to change, as we need a bit of room to move.

The cost is Â£20. Â£10 will be payable in advance via paypal to Dieselmonkey at evo666@ntlworld.com and the balance of Â£10 is payable on the day. We'll start a seperate booking thread soon as well.

I've finalised what we'll cover on the day and this is it.

1) Rifle zeroing and marksmanship, including firing positions.
2)Transition to sidearm and pistol shooting. (For those MED moments!).
3)Judging distance.
4)Camouflage & concealment, including a mini exercise.
5)Observation.
6)Movement & stalking.
7)A stalking exercise/shoot to bring it all together.

It will be quite a long day of training/sneaking about, so be prepared! The vast majority will be practical, hands on stuff, so expect to get a bit dirty in the process. If there's any time left at the end, I'll try to cover the locating and construction of a hide/o.p as well.

Kitlist.

South staffords kit preferred, Axis by prior arrangement, pm me if you want to come.
Helmet with net.
Cap/jeep cap/cap comforter/headover/toque, or something of that ilk.
Face veil.
Fighting order webbing.
Cam cream/cork.
Mug, mess tins, cooking stove, KFS, your own food, water.
A bolt action rifle - scoped or unscoped, your choice, with suitable ammo.
A pistol of some description. (If you have one).
Binoculars (if you have them). I have a couple of pairs I'll bring, along with my spotting scope.
Notebook and pencil.

If you don't have the appropriate kit, now is the time to start scrounging for it!.

Can you please post directions to the site, also what time do you intend to start and is it possible to camp the night before as I'll have at least a 2 1/2 hour drive to get there.

You beat me to it C-W. The newer access road is much better than the old fruit farm road (If you could call it that) and it's easily accessible for cars now. There should be a sign up by the entrance, which should help. The fields have horses in them, so please, no rally style driving down the track.

I'll be onsite from about 0800, setting up. There will be a group of paintballers there unfortunately but we'll work around them and have the site ourselves when they sod off. Since we're "in the field" all day, we will have minimal contact with them in any case. No camping I'm afraid, because of insurance and damned H&S considerations.

If those who are coming could be there by 0900hrs at the latest, we can hopefully fit everything in. I reckon we'll be done by 1800hrs or thereabouts. This gives plenty of time to get there and plenty of time for return journeys.

I've been busy making the target boards and various other bits, so, I'm raring to go. I hope you guys are too!

Thanks for the directions. Shame about the camping, looks like I'm going to do a lot of driving this weekend. I want to go to the Victory show on the Saturday, which is half way to Hilton park for me anyway. :slap:

Right, everything ready to go, very excited little boy at this end! But... car busted so having to get a lift. I might be a little late depending on how quickly I can get the girlfriend out of bed and moving. If I'm not there on time rest assured I am on my way and will do my press ups when I arrive. :oops:

Thanks for letting us know. When you arrive on site, if you can't find us, check with the paintball site manager, who should be able to point you in the right direction.
