PBI Training Day Rescheduled

The PBI training day that was planned for Feb 7th will be rescheduled for one of the following two dates: - Saturday 7th March 2009 - Saturday 14th March 2009 This is so that we have the training before the Op Lightning event... for obvious reasons. The location and all other details of the event remain the same as before. For the original date we had the names listed at the end of this post, this is of course open to other members of PBI who couldn't make the original date! Please let me know if you can attend one, both or neither of these days by posting on this thread. Then when we've got enough answers we'll make a decision as to which date to pick. Please post ASAP so we can get this sorted straight away! Please note, I'm not interested in which you prefer, I need to know which you can do. Already it is clear that we're going to have to make a choice which will mean some people can't make it and we really want to ensure that as many members can get to the event as possible. This may sound nasty, but that's not intentional. Thanks! I will be able to attend as Ranj has very kindly offered transportation aid. Now I do not have to feel guilty for not attending, just for being a bit fat wheezy wreck on the day. :good:

I have a Medics satchel and armband, would you like me to bring them? I couldn't find an armband that had 'S B' on it - as I understand the stretcher bearers had. but if you would like a player to take on a South Staff''s role of medic I would be happy to oblige and get some medical pouches and some nice large bandages. Just a thought if no.

Sorry Chaps, I'm going to have to pull out of this one, I've just been told today that I'm having an op a few days before this so I'll be doing nothing at all for a couple of weeks after that.

Quick request. From a purely selfish POV given that a few of the above will be at Crich could we have some drilling & marching practice please? I'm crap at it and have forgotten a lot and I don't want to embarrass you all at the event...

That's already in Gadge's schedule... Plus we can do some more at Crich. It's good for the public to watch as well.

We can teach you some rifle drill at Crich as well.

Excellent. I can practice my Corporal Jones impression then. 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1. Being out of phase by one mark is really difficult but I have mastered it!
