I've had a friend take a casting of the No2 Commando "Other Ranks" Cap Badge. This is the one worn by all members of No2 Commando except Officers. It does is just the plain fairbairn sykes dagger without the "SS" or "Commando" lettering.
They're made from pewter and come attached to the correct black felt backing ready to be sewn straight on to your green beret.
I'm asking just £2 each for these from PBI members and can deliver to the F&O game on the 16th or post at an additional 50p. (If you're playing a commando at the F&O game then I'll even sew the badge on to your beret for you for free... )
Here's a picture. The badge on the left is the copy, the one on the right is real and cost me considerably more than £2.50.
I'll pick one up on sunday if you have any left mate. Thanks. Syd
Good stuff we just need ox and bucks ones for march now!

LI & rifles cap badges are on chesterfield market most thursdays, do you want me to have a shufty and pick one or two up for the same treatment?
Remember you want the small version of the badge for Ox and Bucks berets. The backing is a darkish rifle green circle. 'fifty-second' titles were mostly an officer thing, a small Ox and Bucks button was worn on the collar by officers too.
you wont show most of this if you have you denison on. For info only.

Much appreciated, it was just a nice idea to be able to supply guys coming to the varsity game with a cap badge or shoulder board cipher depending on what side they pick

If so... the colour of the metal could be a problem...
I think it's a poor photo - the description is 'silver coloured metal'....
