If you dont have items of essential kit PM yith or I asap we probably have spares.
I also have spare 37 pat webbing if anyone requires it.

i have a spare helmet.
I think there might be a couple of errors on your timings mate - either that or PBI have a Jules Verne machine as part of the section equipment

Update:
If the weather gets any worse then its not realistic to do the event.
While I am happy to train in the snow (as im sure you all are) travel to the venue for many of you will be at least tricky.
We will make the call on this fully tomorrow lunchtime.
Hope you all understand

Yeah its not looking good.
Snow will restrict what we can do:
- lying in the snow will not be comfy for long, even in wool
- camo and concealment isn't really going to be the same as normal
- drill will be hard on ice
- cooking in the field will be a right pain
etc....
We will of course reschedule the training day for a bit later in the year though! People have gone to quite a bit of effort to set this up. More so than last year and it would be a shame to not take advantage of that!
looks like it will be cyber training on team death match asylum
Weather forecast for site:
Today; snow changing to sleet by lunchtime temp 1°C max
Friday: White cloud 1°C max
Saturday: Sunny 0°C max
followed by heavy snow on Sunday
what the hell, i will risk it.
The main issue is:
I'm reliant on transport by others, i cant make that decison for them.
If i can get there I will run the schedule be it one, two, three or twenty attendees
(i've done exercises in feet of snow before so it doesnt personally bother me)
However i can see it being tricky for Pete and Barry and Anne and others to make it.

My opinion is that it seems a shame to run the event for reduced numbers and for a reduced time when it could be rescheduled in march (or other month) and take full advantage of what we have done.
We won't be running two training days, so lets make sure we do one that's right.
Also we can get pretty much any Saturday we want for this... well about half of them in the year anyway.
Right the decision is thus:
If the roads are clear and were pretty much thawed out by 12pm Tomorrow we are on, otherwise we will have to leave it.
It makes more sense as Yith says to get the maximum ammount of folk there and have the best use of facilities

Sorry to be party poopers but we vote for postponing due to the travelling and we don't want to miss out.

Same here, I really want to be there for this but if the weathers really bad it's just not safe/sensible to make the journey.
8:20am Friday - Snowing heavily here at present and settling again on minor roads. We're looking unlikely for this chaps, sorry.
Me and Gadge will have a chat at lunch time, but I'm going to recommend that we postpone this event.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but as the Met Office have issued a severe weather warning for Leicestershire for today, tomorrow and sunday, I think it's in everyone's best interests if we postpone the training day.
As we want it to be an enjoyable, and inclusive event for as many PBI members as possible, it would be better to run it when the maximum amount of people can make it, without worrying about travelling for hours in icy conditions, and/or heavy snow, and without the prospect of getting trapped in Leicestershire, and face it who would want that!
So, just to confirm, the training day is postponed. Sorry people.

To be fair it is here, but there's a lot of standing water here, and a cold snap tonight could turn the roads into an ice rink, so it's best to be cautious, we think.
