Ok as you can probbaly see this has gone a little biut more public than we expected a little sooner.
Plan for our guys is thus:
Turn up at F&O in Staffords kit if you can, if you dont have the required bits yet we might be able to loan kit, at the worstcome in whatever brit kit you do have but S/Staff is the best bet.
We'll start off wiht a cup of tea and a chat about the british army of the 40s and the regiments were going to portray and the different roles in the section.
After the brew we'll look into the rudiments of foot drill (nothing more than we need to look shit hot on parade, i dont expect anyone to learn a guards slow march)
After this we'll start 'battle drill' this will be PBIs 'default plans' in certain situationsa so we all know what to do even if the squad leaders are hit and out.
The we'll break for lunch and a demo on period in the field cooking and living and what kit the squaddie would have carried.
After battle drill and lunch we'll do the section attack and the section flanking attack. After we've learnt these we wil try them against a live enemy!
And to top the day off we will practice our 'battle drills' in a live fire exercise against the Waffen SS!
How does that sound?

"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
I'd like to show what was actually carried in the webbing (etc) as well... and the various variants etc that were worn...
Yeah that sounds brilliant.
Ok i'll put thatin , how long do you thin you'll need.
20 - 30 mins?
