Okie dokey

Current plan is to have a late october early november training day.

This will be in the whole combat training in the form of an exercise.

PBI wil be split into 'blue force' and 'red force' (of hopefully at least five each) to train.

Red force will wear airborne kit, blue force will wear Line inf kit to differentiate the sides.

The scenario is training for D-day in April/May 44 so lots of assaulting objectives and firepower based skills.

Look at this as more 'skirmish' than a normal training day but in no way a battle in itself.

Date and time to be decided, cost will be the usual £10 (ish).

I can only urge you to sign up for the tactical field training day in september as if we can do both we'll be in good stead for the coming year. We've a lot of new members who could really do with getting used to formations, hand signals and battle drills.

In for both mate, might have to be bluefor depending on whether i can get the line inf. kit ready by then.

Are you taking bookings on the fieldcraft? Expressed interest on this on another threat somewhere?

Still waiting for some more to show an interest Matt. So far, I've been underwhelmed by the response.

South Staffs kit isn't obligatory Matt, just preferred. We've got a couple of Germans coming now as well.

To clarify here:

Pete's tactical fieldcraft day is now opened to a few germans.

the winter battle training is South Staff or Hallams Kit only.

Pencil us in depending on availability.

Seeing as we can't make Sgt Heide's do, an hour or so given over to setting up our rifles would be much appreciated.
