And with me being broke til today and also out and about and away from the computer i've missed the boat on places for Evo and I.
Do let me know if there is any way we can be fitted into the allied side.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
That's why we mentioned it at the end of Die Glocke, so members had the upper hand regarding booking. I took 15 bookings from members last week alone.
Plenty of German places left.
Unfortunately steve i had no money until last night.
Moneys quite tight at the moment, and for that reason im loathe to book in as a german when i've spent months getting early war brit kit together.
I dont really have early war german stuff nor would i really enjoy the game if im playing *against* the lads i was hoping to be playing with.
So i dont really have the cash to spend on a place i dont want (i.e german forces for this one)
So unless some places do come up Evo and I have clearly missed the boat on this one.
I was also supposed to be sorting out evos place you see cos I owe him £30!
Oh well, have to be next time...
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Bugger it. Lets see how things pan out.
Logically there should be, if anything, more Germans than Brits for this. It will be really hard to sneak more than 20 around this site!
We will be having a final site visit soon to tie up this event so we will see if we can come up with anything - I have a few ideas...
What we couldn't do is add you two to the public list since it wouldn't be fair to those that are being turned away now, I've already fended off antagonism for CiA turning into stitch-counters so I don't want any more flak!!
Anything you can sort out is appreciated Dave.
Well wait and see what happens.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
As the axis places have all but one filled up wil you be opening anymore spaces for allies and can i pay you asap for a place for evo and I and you stealth us is on the day?
Sorry to nag I juts feel really bad about letting evo down on this one.

That's for Dave to answer, but given the restrictions on the site, I doubt it. We'll work something out; don't worry about it.

Sooner i know the better Steve as I currently have 60 quid in paypal but its pretty tight for money at the moment in the gadge household and i'd rather pay up while i have it then a place comeup and not be able to pay for them.

It's not the cash it's more the numbers. Tell you what thouhg good showing from the brits to book out so quick , maybe we can avoid all the nobby Yanks and keep this a strictly European affair in future !
Well if the site is so small it *really* cant handle two more players then i understand
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
We've got another visit soon , some ideas of 'civvies' are floating around as well .
To be honest guys, I think it'd be a very bad show to turn down Gadge on this one.
By all accounts he did pm you to let you know the situation and received no response. If it was me I'd have taken that as enough to confirm the booking. (In fact we already did exactly that for Che at St Lo)
If it was a PBI event we'd bend over backwards to get you guys in!
Oh and I played at the site last weekend... the cover is now so dense that I suspect that the 2 extra players won't make a blind bit of difference. It's extremely thick.
Its more having spent fuckloads getting an accurate early war brit impression together really.

Yeah, got a PM from Gadge on the 27th April:
Heya
Evo and I are really up for this.
Im going to try and sort you the cash ASAP.
As I said, we'll sort something out, but it's Chommers game really so I shouldn't comment further without having spoken to him about it. I was very surprised that the Brits booked up so quickly TBH, I very quickly shut the booking and thought we had taken too many bookings. Luckily not!

Er, no......we won't. Unless you want me to carry on "borrowing so much of Kermit's German kit you'd have thought I'd moved in with him"
To be honest guys, I think it'd be a very bad show to turn down Gadge on this one.
Come on that really isn't fair. No one has turned Gadge down - we are discussing what the hell to do, we have been put in a difficult position through no fault of our own.
No more discussion please as this is getting very silly.
True... you didn't, but Guy's comment made it seem like that was what was going to happen.
It's two months away FFS ....have some faith you know we'll sort it out , just need to work out how .
OK Gadge, if you go ahead and book you and Evo on to the Brit side I'll process it.
I won't add you to the public list though as it might get a bit controversial.

Thanks guys much appreciated.
