Wouldnt be the first time that someone has "infiltrated" a re-enactment group. Anyone remember the kerfuffle a few years back when some fucking journo joined the 9th SS reenactment lot?

I don't think any that I named are 'undercover' but are outspoken/extreme and liable to be a focus if there is investigation or indeed reporting by provocation (as is being alleged).
Still, scary story - though there is some comfort from the fact that they didn't find anything 'big' at all and ended up with a lightweight docu instead of the hard-hitting story they were obviously hoping for.
Given the amount of time and (our) money invested in the prog, the fact that 3 agent provocatuers couldnt dig up fuck all only makes Sweeney look more of a twat.

This reminds me of an incident at the Victory Show this weekend.
Late on Saturday night we infiltrated the dance in the main beer tent... (well it had finished)... We chatted and sang songs... heh.
Everyone there was in allied clothing except one chap in German uniform who seemed to be determined to shout about his racial prejudices to anyone who would listen. Nobody would and to be honest the I almost did deck him one. But its not really in my nature to do that.
He was a young chap and an absolute idiot and drunk...
So was he a plant, was he for real, was it just the drunkenness... who knows?
Heh... most likely the latter... but really we don't know who anyone is!
Lets just keep modding the idiotic comments as Steve says.

Been thinking about this and I vote for Stephen being the spy ....
- he works in the media
- he can be a bit quiet from time to time
- he has suddenly wanted to join the Germans

I personally think we managed quite well with the moderation on here, we have a few mavericks but most of them get the message to reel it in when pressed, and I think as a mod team we have a pretty comon view of whats acceptable or not .
