Had to happen sooner or later guy, i've already removed a post in the past where he had a pop at me and sent him a curt PM and advised him to keep our discussion to PM.

At the risk of betraying confidentiality, would you mind letting us know what the response you get is?

I wouldn't take it serously - he is playing with/us a bit.

Just let it ride out - mind you, it does feel a bit odd being the oppressor!!

You give him credit for far more intelligence than he has previously demonstrated.

That PM looks good to me, apart from having too many long words which he might not understand ;)

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

He has read it - no response as yet.

FWIW, I don't think he is thick, just a bit of a zealot. Men with a mission tend to lose sight of normality :? . (As an airsofter I have no time for him though)

Anyone want a discussion on 911 conspiracies? Oh well, some other time then 8)

I would .......but then I'd be telling you the CiA what really went on , and then the black helicopters would come and find me , and my brain would be scrambled by the orbital mind control lasers, and the Boy Scouts would kidnap my children to sell them to McDonalds , and I'd have to let Osama out of my celler , but it's all the fault of imigrants probably.
I'm off now the peoples free republik of Yorkshire, to errect the barracades north of Sheffield and withstand assult by the ATF / FBI / CIA / TLA /KBG / M&S / B&Q and MFI armed only with suicide whippets and yorkshire puddings .
Forgot to mention how I'd be spending next week getting paid ot spread foot & mouth around the country by these weird little aliens I met last night .

PS check out Illuminati, a great game !

Oddball's reply:

Thanks that was a well considered reply and I appreciate you taking the time to do it!

I still cant help thinking maybe if it was locked with just the first posting only as it was an open question if there was anyone who wanted to email me about it.

I actually said don't reply on the thread but I broke my own rule Embarassed

In terms of my political viewpoint it is both left and right on different subjects basically OTHER.
Many will have me pegged as BNP through out but that is not the case, as the BNP are quite happy to state publicly that people walking amongst us of different faiths are the ones responsible for terrorist attacks.

I believe it is much more complex than that but truth be known many BNP members also have the same feelings but are not allowed to speak them as it goes against policy. You see in all parts of our current society it seems that barriers are being put in place to stop talk about this subject unless you make a first step to find the information your self.

If you don’t think much of what is going on in the world today is about oil in some way you must have been on an other planet.

For the last UK election there was a TV advertising campaign if you don't talk politics you don't talk about anything, as everything is related to it at some level especially laws affecting airsoft ownership.

However in future I will try to think about fluffy bunny rabbits a lot more and not be thought provoking. Confused

Don’t reply to this I will try to let it drop and forget about it but if you wish to forward it to other moderators I have no problem with that! We are all here to enjoy our hobby.
Have a nice weekend at the training day! Very Happy

Nigel.

I replied:

Hi Nigel - I have replied!

Of course, this is a complex world that requires complex thinking - it's just that a simplistic airsoft forum and those of us that run it have agreed this isn't the place to do it. No more, no less really.

On a personal note, I'm of no political persuasion, other than my own, though general terms such as humanist, socialist, liberal, conservative seem to fit (no capitalisation!) and many issues interest me, not least the 911 smoke screen - I say this just to illustrate that it's not the content per se that I/we have a problem with, merely the context.

Anyhow, issue closed.

cheers
David

Well, I would urge caution - he hasn't done anything wrong, there wern't any rules to break, none of our users have complained.
So we don't like him that much, but he does play an active part on the forum and chaps are interested in what he is up to.
OK, he was a bit cheeky and may well have been trying to be funny, so do we throw a strop because he dared to rile the mods? Nah, he now knows the score.

Taking the piss? Not really, just making a point. Fart videos or national/international issues of the day? We have gone for fart videos!

Don't let him get to you, it's sorted now. Let's get a policy sorted ASAP then there won't be an exscuse next time.

I know that as far as im concerned i'll treat him as any other player, fairly and squarley.

However he's lost any 'asking for favours' priveliges that our other regulars who are proven to be 'good blokes' in our eyes have.
I mean if he asked me to go out the way for him now he can sod off.

You know what i mean by that i hope, i just mean that you know how someof our regulars we'd try and accomodate if they mised the boat booking etc.

He's now posting in my comedy video thread implying that I'm being non-PC by posting links to bad 80's Indian film pastiche.

What a cock slot.
