After being accused repeatedly of being a stitch counter by webby and Heb..
webby posts to tell us how many rows of stitching a pair of us combats should have and how the SOF ones are wrong.
I'm going to resurrect that *every* time anyone accuses me of being anal...
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Surely Webby is looking to avoid being seen as anal by increasing the stitchs in his breeches ?
LOL, Webby has split every pair of trousers he has played in - he now reinforces them before using them! To be fair - take a look at the rows of stiching in your jeans, one row won't do for any pair of trousers, let alone combats
Oh i do see his point its just the utter irony that the first time stitches have *literally* been counted is the chief accuser of 'stitch counting'.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Aye, irony not lost on me! He didn't say how many stitches to the inch though...
meh... I was discussing stitches with a fellow re-enactor on sunday... Just like me he gets his mum to do the machine sewing and does the hand sewing himself... lol
My neighbor does my machines stitching but small repairs and small insignia i tend to do myself.

Do all my own whilst the missus is out .
More irony
Mr 'CR was biased' Spiers is planning a scenario where the allies defend fixed positions all day and have a tank...
I dont know whether he's spent a whole five minutes thinking that one up or perhaps a brain busting ten.
Wherever he ends up doing it i'd be interested to see how it goes.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
I think quite possibly we ought to keep out of his thread and let him bury himself - he has only played two airsoft games and thinks he can run one on a golf course. Let it die a death - at least Guy has made him realise there is more to it than coming up with a one sentence outline scenario!
Agreed, i just put the response in to show i was being constructive and not just shooting him down.

You've got my measure to quickly ...
..I'm hoping his musings might attract other people to help out and hey presto a new game....or it dies a death and he's greatful for what he's got .....win win either way
