Well my opininions are thus.
I'd rather have helga as scientist and not charge her BUT shes a great player and motivatoer so if she really wanted to play coudl we not squeeze her onto the german side and find a replacemnt scientist.
As for bringing partners along as observers.. i dont *really* think its approprioate especialy at this game for a few reasons.
1) if shes not an airsofter and gets peed off we only end up with webby leaving early or worse have someone there in a bad mood bringing the event down in atmosphere. It was bad enough with the stresses between webby and heb and she was a player who knew all the guys and got on with em.
2) Its dark tunnels, photos will be hard to do at best of times, its going to be busy and she'll get in the way. She might even get shot up and get arsey.
3) It sets a precedent we dont really need.
To be fair i considered bringing charlene along as i'm in a new relationship and want to be wiht her all the time and want her to see my hobby but i thought it wasnt right for the abover reasons.
Equally i dont think we really need any more folk with cameras, definatley not in game and we can easily take out own in the safe.

I agree about Matt's g/f and all your points relating. He wants to get her interested but this isn't really the game to do this!
As for another German - that's Jay's call really.
Thats my main thing, i'd have said something
a) local
and
b) woodland would be better.
Nothing worse than being in dank tunnels underground 300 miles form home if you hate it after ten minutes....

No problem with having Helga on the German side.
Regarding scientists, ive spoken with Andy, and he's said we can use his three marshals. There are reasons for this:
1: They know the site like the back of their hands. I dont want the Scientists to be taken easily!
2: Means that we have some marshalling presence "in game", but nothing as blatant as people wandering around in fluorescent jackets
Regarding "observers", i agree with Gadge. This really *isnt* the site for them.
As an aside, whats the total number of "extras" now? If we could get a list together please. I'll start it, if people can edit this post and add them, id be grateful
1: Scott Hawkins "Snyper" - German
2: Helga - German
3: Josh Gunman NPC- literally coming ot see how we run events /what they look like
4 Greeg- Lonewolf NPC- coming to video/take stills
'Extras' are addition to these booked and paid players:
Allies - 21
Axis - 21
When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Another reason is that camera lenses could get really deeply funked up from the bbs.
Clifton Matt
Brit commando
Possible he might be too skint to do this as hes currentlyunemployed but if i can i'll pay his way.

He doesn't want it to be made public but Joker has had to drop out of Wotan as it is 'highly likely' leave will be suspended next month.
Do we put in Gadge's 'extra' Clifton in which case I can return Joker's money or put the place up for grabs in the forum?
Put Clifton in his place IMHO
sounds good to me...
Snag is that if Clifton doesn't come then, including extras, Allies will be 21 players and Axis 23.
If he can't commit to coming then sell his place elsewhere - over to you Methinks Gadge
a spare place will be snapped up in no time if we make it available...
Joker is asking if his place has been sold on - is Clifton coming Gadge?
Hes really skint, so count him out.
"I think we are in rats' alley - Where the dead men lost their bones."
Right, what do we do with Joker's place then - re-advertise, as I asked on the 13th?
Readvertise.
