I thought he said he won't be playing this one, just running it.

He said something about an officer's uniform somewhere.

Whatever happens please can we not have a 2/4 split of organisers for a game again if we can avoid it.

Hopefully in the same way I did at CR, ie in Uniform ? Come on you don't have to wear civvies ot be an organiser  , and FFS there's only 20 troops max each side .

Sheessh, I'm losing the plot here.

Regardless of what he is wearing, is Kermit playing or not?

If not and I'm on the Allies there will be no one on the German side with site knowledge. If you are happly with that then fine I'll be US.

All of which requires Jay to say what he is planning on doing, when he is back on line.

Fuck me, im gonna have to smuggle the XDA and a wireless card onto the DefSec Course to keep up with you lot!

OK, here's what I'm planning on doing. You lot can then argue about what you want to do ;)

I'll deal with the overall game briefing, if one or two others can deal with the booking in, and handing out of medic bands. The game will pretty much run itself once started. It couldn't really be much more simpler than "find, assault and hold objectives A,B,C,D,E, and find items X,Y,Z" What will need doing is overall co-ordination of each side: i.e. organising assault groups/hunter teams. I'll deal with the German side (if no one objects), if someone can deal with the Allied side.

I'll state quite clearly that the ONLY time I will actively "play" will be in self-defence if the allies manage to sneak a patrol past the Germans. I will be taking no active part in an assault group or hunter team.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

Sounds to me that we have a decision:

Axis
Kermit 1IC
Guy
Steve

Allied
Richard (Brit Commando)
Gareth (Brit Commando)
Dave (US)

Now me and Dave have to fight out who commands the allies.

I ain't fighting no one over it!

If you want to keep in the action and play you can be 2IC Yith - if you want to organise, motivate and control then be 1IC. I'll leave the choice to you...

Hmmm lets see what happens at the recce!

I do like to charge into rooms guns blazing... lol

But then I'm also prepared to stand behind people and push them in!

Brief Chat with Kermit revealed the following

1IC German = Jay
NCOs = Stephen and Guy

1 IC Allied = David/Gareth / Richard ?
Need ot confirm boys !

With the smaller numbers and players used to playing with each other now it should get a lot easier.

Oh yeah, would like to take a break from being CO for this one.

Happy to help out in ANY other way I can though and don't intend to get stuck in other than to run the game from a squad level.

Being as I'll be there the day/night before the game I'll have site knowledge by the game day. Guy's tour around IED gave me enough to know that site completely so I reckon some tunnels will be fine.
