Please post up if you have kit to lend, or would like to borrow.

I have full Heer kit to lend.

Can anyone with spare guns bring them along please. If necessary we can set up a deposit scheme but some of the new guys from Ford dont have ww2 weapons as yet. Any damage will be rectified under a bend and mend policy.
Fremsley can you bring those German binos please matey.

Sure thing Jimbo - now to tackle the room of doom to find them!

Sandy its really difficult to find any kit with our gentleman's sizes. A dark green or brown jumper will do and a pair of lightweights look near as damn to denims. If you can get gaiters with black boots thats great.

On that note I'm possibly off down at Sabre Sales this weekend. PM me if there is anything you really want (its the place for all things Brit especially webbing - check their website). Its quite sad, but it seems that the shop will be going soon as the building is under offer. So they are doing a clear out and moving to other premises.

You might be better off trying to find 50s originals.

They crop up quite cheaply I paid about £25 fr my set.

SoFs are cut to be like BD, not correctly like the overalls for vehicle maintainance and messy jobs that denims are. Originals on the other hand are Mahoosive as they are designed to go over your bd and for you to be able to put the trousers on while your boots are on.

While they can be unreliable (personally i've neve had a problem with them) a company in India called 'replicators' will make you pretty much anything from BD to windproofs to service dress in any size you like at all. It's not the most accurate of repros but it is very cheap.

I got a pair of Jungle Green trousers, 2 aertex shirts, an officers bush jacket and a aertex BD blouse for £60 posted... and all made to measure too.

His KD and JG are very good btw.

Like i say the only problem s there are tales of them not turning up with the goods or getting orders wrong.

If you think you could drop 4"s in the future there is a gy with a pair of 42" 49 pattern on the pozzi forums at the mo.

They dont come up very often at all!

Colin, the tall ginger fella with the funny ears? I last saw him wondering off to the prickly thorn bushes in the copse.
