My red army brothers could you just give me and Lardy a bit of a heads up as to what weapons you are considering for the event just so we can plan to balance the defences as much as possible. I will be deploying the DPM in field as a support back up and to defend key locations.

I was going to bring my M14 based SVT-40, which still has a fire selector so can also be used as an AVT-40.
Probably a captured MP40 as a backup, although I might bring a boltie instead.
More important is what hat to wear, as it is 1941 I am considering my highly impractical Budenovka, although I'll bring a helmet too.

Garand is my main on the horrid chance it fails then i will be down to either a pistol or a thompson /grease gun unless i get a ppsh in time , but garand will be my main

I'll probably try to use my Mosin, but should that not work will switch to the PPSh41. I may even switch even if the Mosin does work as I get so little use from the PPsh.
Tommy with MP40 as backup. Unless someone wants to lend me their rifle..... 
Boltie with a Garand in reserve, Unless you want to borrow the Garand, Steve, then I will have the thmpson in reserve.
PPSH with probably Kar98 or MP40 as backup
