Yith has spoken to Alex, and he has some reservations on the coiled wire from a H&S stance. Is there any way in which we can make this look more obvious so it isn't a trip hazzard?

From what I can see, we need the following props:

* Tank Traps - Matt can get these off Dave Manning, Craig do you have those left over from casino?
* Mortar - Matt to get off Dave
* Mortar Rounds - Matt to get off Dave
* Wire - Craig? Do you have enough? - Need confirmation from Alex that we can use it.
* Pilot stuff - Matt Sorting (Chute Canopy, ropes, Pilot costume, wreckage, smoke)
* German Radio with radio chatter. Matt to supply Ipod and speakers,.. a.n.other to provide german accent dub over...
* Signs - Craig altering Casino signs to suit
* Tank Turret - Nige currently in Production, Matt has AEG built up to use inside.
* Thanks to Yith, the US backpack radio is working on comms with other radios.
* Ammo boxes - Matt can supply these if needed
* Mine signs?
* Pyros? Headshot has kindly offered to bulk order any pyros with CiA's order for Jedburgh, can let him know ASAP whether we need anything, could probably do with something fairly loud to simulate the plane crashing? I can get plenty of ball grenades and german stick grenades off Dave M as I know he has a plenty.

Cool, im not particularly fussed if they aren't correct Issue, however, like you say, be nice if we could.

Response from Alex as regards the wire.

Not happening, unless its TOTALLY disposed of after the event. And I never see or hear of it. ;)

My response...

That could be a problem... it would look too cool to forget and someone would be bound to take a photo!

Removing it would not be a problem however.

Hmmm... I'll pass your info on to the others, but I think it may be too much hassle... :(

I may have got the wrong end of the stick a little...

I'm not fussed about photos... I just don't want it to reappear on an open day with the usual suspects telling me how dangerous things are and how I should be ashamed. As long as its ALL gone by end ex... I'll be fine.

Well, we'll just have to make sure it's all taken up then, restrict it to use in places its not going to go walkies, (like across the road etc)

If it's tied up in the tank traps, its not going to spring off anywhere!

If we preattach it to its supports it can just be unwound in place and then simply coiled back up again afterwards.

Btw my Dad works for company that produces wire & such for gardens so if we need any more I should be able to get some cheap.

yes, collecting the wire will be no problem, as it will all be attached to the wooden supports either end - not strung around on its own.

Any snips will be creating a gap, not 'removing' segments of wire so that should not be a problem either.

Will 4 be enough?
If not, it will not take much to make a couple more.

I've managed to get 3 raised bed thingys from my dad. One that is big enough for a mortar ( about 5x5ft & 1 ft high) and 2 smaller ones. The 2 smaller ones have gaps in the walls but they should be easily filled with dirt/sandbags. He would like them all back though. He's going to see what he can do about wire & some scrap wood today.

Mortar may not actually look like a mortar, more like a tube with a spike on it, I could make a fake A-frame for it, but not sure how good it would look!

More importantly home made ones do tend to fall apart...!

Would it pass as a 2" mortar? They don't have A-frames.
