I think I've got a load of sandbags...will check.
Version 2
Thanks for posting. One thing, the ammo limits are 300 rounds per "life" for rifles/smg's and 1000 rounds per "life" for support guns.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!

Capture - for discussion
Looking at the poll a lot of people were uneasy with the capture rules.
So I propose this ..
1 Ditch the bag on head, TBH it's not WW2 per se , it's pissing a lot of people of and apart from anything else it's no particularly pleasant .
2 If you get chance only take one prisoner if you can be arsed . Back to base , 15-20 minutes of role play what is your name etc , and then release . No one at Jed "broke" I don't expect this lot to either but we'll use Lemonjuice just in case. Bear in mind returning to base with a prisoner means everyone going back , which may or may not be a good thing depending on where you are with the rota . Might be better done at the site of the ambush .
3 intel - the main point is to capture maps off each other, this can be done at the time either to corpses or prisoners.
4 Mines , you Ruskis have mines, can I ask that when you set up vehicle ambushes with pyro you deploy a mine on the road as well ? So .....you attack truck , Germans get slaughtered. By the time we reinforce with a second squad you'll be gone , and the first job I'll ask them to do is sweep for mines 100m up and down the road if a pyro has been used. If nothing else will slow the pace of the game down , and also give you the opportunity to ambush the relieving force.
Thoughts ?
Agreed, on all points.

Yep, agreed.
Final Version , there are some differences. I've printed off 4 copies as A5 booklets so don't bother printing it
Both sides will have an A2 command map and 12 or so A3 maps , printed done. Suggest give out the maps at a ration of 1/2 so when they loose them we'll have some spares Germans have some intel.... you'll have to find out what though .
I've not printed out the rotas for the Russians, as we have 2 sqauds and an HQ unit , Russians will have 3 ? Suggest you knock some up to give to the players so they have an idea of what they are supposed to be doing when .
I'm travelling up with Keith and Del in period convoy....should be there by 5 . Site will be open .
Thanks for posting. 1 point, we don't have enough mines to be able to plant 1 for each E-det. No big deal, just thought I'd point it out.
I may be a little later than I planned, as I am picking up my new car on friday, so, I have to drive from work to Stu's, then drive to Burton to get the car for 1400hrs, then to the wife's shop to get her 4x4, then to the site. Should be there by 1800hrs, traffic permitting.

I'm picking Scott up in Reading at 2PM (traffic permitting!), should be there about 5ish. Where are you guys gonna be on site - the usual carpark? (small quarry one)
When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........
Another new car Pete?! Blimey!
Quarry car park makes sense, or maybe just at the main gate on top of the hill.
small quarry should be ok for the numbers
