OK, have ordered the pyro.

I'll grab the plastic bags and compost.

BTW I owe CiA the money for Stu Dunn's fee for this event . I've covered his fee as part of a gun purchasing deal :good:

Two detonators .
It's a real renaissance to be making props again even if I've got better things to be doing with my time .
based loosely on the "German 1941 exploder". Piss easy to use, connect the wires, hold the button turn the key. Instructions on the side.
Was going to make them for an AEG battery but will use 2 9V square batteries in parallel as they is smaller and easy to buy as needed .
Cost £46 for the two , reciepts on the way to you HS .

Cool. Although I pity the bugger who has to carry those tarps, they aren't that light!

We'll sling em in the back of a vehicle and drop em off. TBh I don't mind using the vehicles to ferry the players to their bases as long as they don't insist on taking mountain of extraneous crap with em .

Looking at todays weather I'm hoping it remains a bitter end and not a soggy bottom .

I had to pick up cement/compost/bark chips for the event i'm at this weekend - far cheaper at Wickes than B&Q, if you have one locally.

I'm afraid the parachute flares are a no-go.

I've just spoken to the chap and he can't find a courier that's willing to deliver them, so it's collection only from Plymouth.

To be honest, I do question the sense in using a burning flare that fires 1000ft in the air and then drifts down on to what could be very dry pine trees.

All the other suppliers I've seen charge over £35 per flare.

Speaking of pyro, I have a slack handful of spare 10g and 20g bangs from this weekend, and a bloody great big bag of 5g maroons, that i'll be bringing along as well.

ok on the flares. I'll ask my dad if if can pick some up as if lives there. We've used flares at both ied sites for a long time they are designed not to set things on fire :) can we bring the wooden tent pegs and mallets along as well if we're not using the sup tents so we can use them for the command tents instead ?

We did have a CIA tent at some point ( my old one un picked up at Husky )

If it's still knocking around it should have the pegs and mallet . If not no dramas :D

Ah, gotcha.

Yes, I have that. IIRC, the mallet destroyed itself when I tried to use it....I might be wrong though.

One thing we might need is some more D10. There's a limited amount in the det box.

Does anybody have some or shall I get a reel this week?

Hmmm, also, just going through all the stuff in my attic, I can't seem to find:

1 x green pup tent

Any German flags

Did anyone take these after an event?
