I reckon we need to get this done sooner, rather than later. I'm happy to go, subject to my normal work commitments. Once again, I am also suggesting we alter the gameplan/outline to allow for the fact that we have less organisers and, seemingly, less players for this.

Some time in mid May suits me , as I'll be out of the country end April . TBh I've run 4 events there now, and know the site very well . Meeting up to look again would be a good idea if we can all make it , as there are other things we could do with sorting too.

Ok, cool. I haven't been since Bryansk! We need to be thinking about the gameplan, so we can fit it in with the gournd when we do the recce. Personally, I'd like to use areas that we didn't use at Bryansk and, avoid the "bridge" altogether.

 Most of the site other than the valley is unusable, it's far to dense or steep or remote to do anything other than crawl through . The road system gives it some use, in that vehicles can be used to flank a lot , but with camps 500m - 1km apart that's about as much as you can use .

There are 5 roads leading to the bridge, most of which are heavily wooded ,giving the most opportunity for assualt and defence . Anyway you'll see it better when we go there .

The only thing that I really think we need to know about the place is whether there has been any more deforestation. I've been there enough times to not even need a map to get around it these days.

When we were a Kingdom it was run by a King
When we were an Empire it was run by an Empress
Now we're a country we're run by a..........

I am, big time. I'm determined to see this game go ahead, albeit with a change of plan, given what's happened to Dave Barrett.

Given your doing this on your own for the first few hours , if I go will you come up for a looksee ? I know what your saying about knowing it backwards.

I will be away although I want to come , can I suggest 29th May instead ? Closer the better in terms of logging as Pete and I understood after visiting for Jed .

Definitely. Not only do we need to do a recce, we need to agree on a new gameplan, to reflect the inevitable lower player and vehicle numbers.

pete - lets have a trip on the 28th May . If you and stephen get chance to go again then even better , but it needs looking at sooner rather than later

I'm free on 29th/30th April for a looksee.

The only weekend day I have free in May is the 8th.

I'm happy to defer to you guys, but would like to strongly suggest that the 'bridge' area is a last resort in the gameplan if no other part of the site is useable.

Okay, sounds good to me. Happy to go twice, just to familiarise myself with the place.
