Looks like we have a fair few who want to come on the friday. So...
What time are we going to say to be on site at for them, are we sticking with 2000hrs?
Will we be booking them in then, or on saturday?
How are they going to get to their repsective camp sites?
Is it worth lumping everyone together for an "on site" social and, camping in the same area just for friday?
Who is going to put out "CiA" signs?
I hope to be on site with Stu by 1630hrs at the latest. I have a CiA banner that I can put up at the gate.

2000 hrs will give people two hours to put their tents up, so that should be fine.
I'll be leaving work around 1pm with my kit packed already.
I think having a communal camp on the Friday is a good idea, perhaps the best thing to do would be to find a good area where everyone can camp together, alternatively we could put everyone in either the planned German or Soviet camp. There'll be plenty of time on the Saturday morning for people to relocate and will provide a much needed social for people to relax and shoot the shit.
I can put CiA signs out. I'll place them from Clun as that's easy enough to get to and there are only a few junctions between there and the site.
I'll be there early too .
Not so sure about one big camp, just means setting up everything twice. Nothing to stop them putting up tents and all meeting at one camp for an evening together ( there are only 15 minutes walk apart )
Suppose a lot depends who comes .
Re signage, be aware I posted a lot of signs for A2c early in the morning, some local mong had removed nearly all of them by 10 am .
Feckin Welsh nobbers.
there's fuck all mobile signal on site as well .
I've managed to fuck my Friday evening appointment off, so should be there roughly 15:00 to 16:00

I suggested a "communal" friday camp to avoid everyone knowing where the other sides' bases are. Knowing this would kind of spoil the idea of any patrols and detract majorly from the tension that we are seeking.
Judging from the forum thread, there's quite a few coming on friday night, which was the main reason for my origial post.

Personally, i'm not massively enamoured of the idea of having a single camp on Friday, only to have to strike camp and relocate it on Saturday morning - especially if we end up having to do it in the pissing rain.

OK, how about this.
We set up the respective camps when we get there on Friday afternoon. The we can find a communal area somewhere else where we can have a fire and put up some of the plastic tarps if it's raining. Perhaps even somewhere like the bridge area could work.
Guys, given that we're meeting on site at 5-6pm. We're going to have to be quick about sorting shit out to then go back to Clun to meet at the pub.
