One bandage* for each player, which can be applied by anyone after the first hit. On the next hit after being bandaged, a player is "incapacitated" and must remain in position for 20 minutes (at players own honesty), whereafter the bandage can be removed and the player may continue Wounded or incapacitated players may be moved by team mates, by placing a hand on the shoulder of the wounded/incapacitated player.
Grenades/mortar rounds are an instant “incapacitateâ€, as are “knife killsâ€. Grenades have a 5 metre kill radius, unless the affected player(s) are behind hard cover.
Grenades or pyro hits on a vehicle have the same blast radius and the vehicle will become "disabled" for 20 minutes and, must then return to base for repairs. For the purposes of gameplay, the occupants of the vehicle will be protected from the blast but, must get out of the vehicle immediately and may not fire from it. (In reality, it would be on fire!).
Both sides will have a fixed aid station in their HQ, where hit bandages can be removed and players can regen' from there.
Wounded and incapacitated players can be "captured", by an opposing player by applying your bandage or by placing a hand on your shoulder when you are incapacitated. If you are captured, consider yourself disarmed even if you have a rubber knife hidden in your pants. You should also consider yourself to be restrained (we can't go round tying people up unfortunately, so this is where "suspension of disbelief" comes in). You will be reinserted into the game at some point, don't worry!
*If you want to bring your own "blood soaked" field dressing or bandage, this can add greatly to the atmoshpere.
When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Vehicles may also be captured . If within the 20 minutes down time by pyro , the enemy can get to the driver, then the vehicle and the driver and under the command of the capturing for a further 20 minutes from time of capture. The vehicle driver is responsible ot keeping an eye on the time
This represents a driver getting killed , and the enemy using the vehicle until it runs out of fuel
Site speed limit is 30mph on open stretches of road with clear visibility (although tactically you'll be often doing less than 5 with your troops in front on patrol) , and 10 mph at night ( you are not obliged to have your lights on)
Player do no throw pyro into a vehicle, or shoot at the driver, anyone found doing this accidentally or otherwise will be faced with having a sever kicking from the vehicle owner. it's stupid and dangerous, and serves no point.
if you want to stop a vehicle, use pyro in front or just behind it or drag a log across the road , DO NOT leap out of the bush waving your gun and hoping a fully laden vehicle travelling at 30 is going to stop in anything less than 50 metres . Also at night, do no lie down on the roads for obvious reasons.
All sounds a bit stong , believe me I have seen people do all of the above more than once, although never at one of our events
