As discussed elsewhere on this section of the forum, to encourage more people to join the Soviet side, we are more than happy for people to portray Partisan units as we have allowed at previous eastern front events.
For inspiration on a few of the ideas for Soviet partisan units you can have a look at the following images. Some are original, some are taken from previous CiA events.
Any people who resemble those in pic 3 are especially welcome...
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier

I confess Andy that I was more taken with the ladies in picture 4 myself... but each to his own.
I think andy has been the butt of one of CW's little pranks...
Ahem....
tee hee,
anyway, sorry to be boring but Steve,, where did the original third (now forth) pic come from? As the partisan on the far right looks to be wearing a Rogatywka, I think?
Female soviet snipers are HOT innit?

That's the one Chommers posted, but the image address is linked to this forum thread: http://forums.skadi.net/showthread.php?t=140033
ahhhh, OK... I misunderstood the joke - I thought Steiner was orgionaly wanting to be opposed by people who look like lost geography teachers .
OK I read the forum - don't recommend it - but it tells me nothing. I think I have seen the pic before in a book I have about Polish Jews who fought in the Forests. Anyway, not that it matters or owt - just interested.
I just almost wet myself laughing at that.

Four of IEDs regulars are coming as partisans , not only do they know the site backwards they have all been trained to do this for real . Russians , you have what's known in the trade as a real force multiplier.
Just as long as they remember that this time we're supposed to be the real army and they're just the skilled amateurs...
Don't worry Rich, I'll be giving them appropriate tasks. They'll be an asset, not a hindrance!

That's cool them... you keep those foreign civvies in their place, Komrade Kapitan... (is that the right rank?)

I usually go for Major (it's always cheaper than Captain insignia for some reason!) . Expect the Russian side to be ruled with the same rod of iron that I used at Boryszyn, in fact, the same rod of iron, with nails and barbed wire welded to it!

I do like to give my team a choice - German bullets, or mine! Victory or death!
