The address for UCAP Sandpit is:
Swanscombe Park Quarry
Roman Road
Dartford
DA2 8AH
If you are approaching from the M25 or anywhere west of that, the site entrance is a turnoff on the LEFT (north) side of the A296 Roman Road. There will be a sign saying AGS
NOTE: Make sure to keep in the right-hand lane when leaving the A2, otherwise you will be funneled off towards Bluewater.
If you arrive on Friday between 3pm and 8pm or on Saturday between 7am and 9am the gates will be open.
If you plan to arrive after 8pm on Friday or before 7am on Saturday please let us know in advance - and we don't mean 5 minutes in advance We can then give you a mobile number to call when you get here.
There have been some discussions about going out to Bluewater or wherever for food. Unless you are happy to do this in one group and come back in one group, we'd much rather you sorted out all your grub requirements before you arrive. Finding a keyholder for the gates and getting to and from the site entrance is a real palaver.
There will be a mandatory game and safety briefing at 9am, after which you will have about 10 minutes final prep before moving out at 9.30. Make sure you give yourself enough time to sign in, get your weapon and all your kit together and mag up. This is doubly important if you are borrowing stuff. You MUST be ready to rock'n'roll by 09:30.
Can I just confirm is this the entrance?

certainly is mate!
“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942
"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942
To concrete up on what to look for: the entrance is just a gate on the left hand side of the road. There are almost no other buildings or features on it. If you see a run-down looking car wash garage on the right, you've just gone too far!
This should be accurate for everybody, unless anyone's coming from the north through the Dartford tunnel or across the QE2 bridge - in which case, swap left for right in the above sentences!

Err, I'm really confused now. The entrance looks like it is on the north side of the A296, so if coming round the M25, off on the A2 then B255 and right onto the A296, surely the entrance is on the left hand side, not the right? It will only be on the right if you are coming west along the the A296. Or maybe not??
One of the things I dislike about airsoft is driving around trying to find entrances to obscure sites in the pitch dark, especially after four hours down the M1 on a Friday.
I'm sure it will be alright on the night

The entrance isn't all that obscure, it was the main entrance to the quarry for many years with much traffic flow so it's not like some woodland sites where you drive past and miss it. The gate will be manned for quite a while and if it helps I'll make sure that there are glow sticks attached to it for anyone arriving after hours.
I'll be leaving after the game on Saturday for a birthday bash. Are the gates only open for people to leave at a certain time on Saturday evening?
Coming from the M25, the entrance is on the LEFT / NORTH side of the road.
Once again, make sure you are in the right hand lane as you come off the A2 otherwise you'll end up in Bluewater, causing you to add another 2 hours onto the journey as you'll have to stop and buy at the very least a pair of stonewashed jeans, a Big Mac and a 60" plasma TV.

You can leave any time you like but you'll have to wait for a keyholder to come and unlock, which might take 20 seconds or 20 minutes to organise.
we will be staying in a wimpy travelodge, but will stick aorund for a drinky on Saturday night for a bit - so will be leaving at 'it's too cold/tired now' O'Clock
So about 5:30 then?
How much does the tunnel cost (so I can have the cash ready, not to drive the opposite way around the M25 to avoid the toll ).
Edit: just Googled and it is £1.50 for bridge and tunnel
So just to clear up any final shred of doubt, is this the entrance?
And for those travelling at night:

Myself and Sandy will also be leaving after the event, for various reasons. Once we've got our stuff sorted, we can go as a group.
You've got nothing to ein, zwei, drei, vier
Unfortunately, I too will be leaving after the game.

Excellent idea Steiner, save getting the guy out of his sentry box every 10 minutes.
