Warren... as you know I'm also interested in this. I'll need the 50 rnd version though, not the 100 rnd one! Just something to keep in mind... ;)

Whereas I couldn't care less about the capacity as long as it looks exactly like a 50 round drum mag!

lol!

Christ the normal hi-caps hold close to 500? Why on earth would you need a 1000 bb mag?

because i hate reloading and it solves carrying more magazines. kill 2 birds with one stone. Simple

Fair enough but i do have to warn you our events are not really spray and pray affairs, you'll find one or two mags can last a very long while. Most folks fire very limited bursts or single shots (which i beleive we sort of try to encourage) rather than holding down the trigger and hosing a line of white into targets :)

you can never be to sure so i like to carry maximum rounds. not dis-agreeing with the single shotting a bursting like i do normally. my hi caps are the the 190's lol so i prefer to buy a drum mag than buy 6 new 500 hi caps. personally i hate reloading and that's why i want maximum rounds in one mag lol

Our ammo limits are 600 , just something to bear in mind before flashing out

what seriously? why? well it still worth it to me tho as i do more normal day skirishes than ww2 days

EDIT: Please say we have some way of re-arming during a game like if a situation arise when a major fire fight occurs

Hmmm, major firefight. Yourself + 29 comrades x 600 rounds = plenty!

Support gunners carry more but you will find carrying 600 rounds is fine (it's OK - not 600 rounds per day!)

ahhh but what happens if only a few of you get stuck in a fire fight then them rounds would get depleted a lot quicker. so wouldn't a re-supply station be more fitting and once a point is captured that be comes your new re-supply station. that would far more realistic.

well everyone's different. i normally go thought 2500 so i would need re-supplying. so putting how many rounds you use aside which is not the point i making its the fact is there going to be a re-supply station as i defiantly know i be using more than 600 in half a day as would my friend. as in real war you wouldnt let a front line dry up on ammo.

If your supply gets depleted then you are dead - that's realistic!!

Don't forget, this isn't an open day skirmish so 'normal' doesn't come into it really. You will be very surprised how little you need. Support gunners have the job of laying down fire, hence they get the ammo. But anyway, don't worry, re-supply MAY be available depending on the scenario and state of play. (I am just remembering the last game when we were valiantly defending Trois Ponts when our resupply unit failed to get through enemy lines - outcome? We were stuffed and Trois Pont fell!)
