Moss, what side are you on? I've got a T33 springer you can borrow. It's a pistol and only a springer but this is the kind of event that you can get kills all day with that!

I have been keeping my eye on the forum but not saying much.
I envy you all having some good games coming up but am unable to commit myself to.
Down to business I see you may have camping on the Friday night in which case I would like to pop along & say hi to you all but also I would be willing to help Moss out with his predicament (a lack of a weapon).
I have a gas bolt action that I purchased in the time I've been off with 3 mags which each holds 11 rounds ( I think) it's a type 24 similar to a k98 but shorter.
I'm willing to drop it off for Moss to borrow on the condition that some one local can hold the weapon for me to pickup from them within 2 to 3 days after the game.
When I mean local I mean 15 mile radius of Southampton unless I can get back to the site before the finish.

Peter do you know the fps of that rifle? There is a strict 350 fps limit at this event due to the point blank nature of the site.

No I don't as it's new & I havn't had a chance to use it in a game yet but I can bring it with me on the Friday if someone wants to check the fps.
If it't under 350 then it can be used I think you can adjust the power with a Alan key on the bolt.
Well it's there if needed.

If it's a PPS I think they can adjust to lower than 350, but don't quote me on that, maybe someone with a Kar98k can shed some light, as I think they're mechanically the same.

Yep, PPS's can be adjusted right down to sub 300fps; just needs some tinkering with a screwdriver to get it right.

There is one Soviet spot available Moss, if you PM Fremsley he is selling his as he can't now attend. Get it before it goes!

Moss I am going to say hi on the Friday night so I'll bring the weapon in question & if someone can crono it I know what to do to adjust the fps (you need a small flat screwdriver to adjust a screw that is in the nozzle & there is 3 mags with it but if you need more mags & you can borrow some they are the same as the k98 mags.
If you look on airsoft world they will tell you which ones are compatible.
I do have other weapons as you may remember from the last time I lent you & your Gf one each but they are all American.
So I will say as it stands I will drop my type24 off for you to use with 3 mags & the gas so all you need to bring are your bb's.
We can sort out something on that Friday/Saturday for me to retrieve the weapon ( hopefully I can get to the game site before endex).
