UNIFORMS- Please try and research your kit and make the best impression you can it really enhances the event people talking beforehand and kitting up together. (See the comprehensive Kit Guides on the Forum) Chat about it on the appropriate `Chat Section`.

If you don`t have some kit ask. There is a lot of kit out there which people will lend.
We’re not asking for Re-enactor standard although a lot of you will endeavour to achieve such a look.

British Para Flanking unit- Any Brit Para Uniform for the period 1944 onwards Beret and Helmet if you have one

American forces- They will be a mix of Standard US Infantry uniforms and Ranger kit. If you don`t have the correct mix don`t worry mix and match. No Airborne troops at this one sorry :(

German units. Standard Heer Infantry Field Greys, Volks Grenadiers may sport some Heer Camo either smock or Helmet cover, Gebirgsjager may wear Bergmutze.

**Please all troops to wear Helmet if appropriate as this really makes the look of massed formations**

OK Volks Grenadiers our squad is almost there.

Uniforms. Well Field Greys Steel helmet M43 ski cap at a push please try and use a helmet as thats what most wore and a bit of camo. Either a Splinter smock or a spliter Helmet camo cover. Being late war we also get the chance to sport some Tan and Water camo if you want but not too much.

Weapons- The weapon of choice to the VG being in plentiful supply was the MP44, so if you have one bring it :good:

Anyone bringing a support weapon for the squad? I will have a 5cm Mortar to cart around 8)-- attachment is not available --

So chaps, as a general rule the British Para's should look something like the pictures above.
Uniforms: British Para helmets should be worn (Mk1 or Mk 2's both ok), ideally with a Denison smock (Any WW2 version fine). Standard British wool trousers, anklets and black boots.

Weapons: I believe that we have two support weapon's coming along which will be nice :D for everyone else, ideally Lee Enfields and STENs (I do like a rifle), though M1 Thompson's and M1 Garands are acceptable if you haven't got anything else.

If you're struggling with any of the kit or need a weapon, then drop the organisers a message or post up in the kit sharing thread.

Some extra history on the Regiment can be found on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/13th_(Lancashire )_Parachute_Battalion
