Fantastic weekend, cheers to everyone involved, what a great bunch of guys and nice to put faces to tags, touch other guys weapons etc :ghey: :ghey:  just a bit cooler would have been nice when climbing the hills though! Glad I didn't have to hump a support gun around, must have lost a couple of pounds in sweat as it was (the german woolen trousers really ain't that bad suprisingly). Nearly deafened while helping fire the mortar on Saturday too - that was fun!

Speirs you the man for carrying on fully bandaged up :good: ; John and co- welsh hospitality at its best! :good:

Look forward to doing it again soon!

as I'm not as fit as Webby

I was glad when the battery on the .30cal died as we were attacking the rock face! As it was starting to get really heavy in the heat!

I forgot to ask the Germans (just out of professional curiosity!), how did the Tanaka K98's perform? It looks to me like almost ideal weather for them.

Odball, it was a pleasure to meet you, as you were the inspiration for my MG42 full metal build. I'm glad it wasnt ready in time as I'm not as fit as Webby and would have struggled to carry that weight around. Cracking footage sir, if a tad biased, but that's the press for ya :good:
'tis often said that history is only written by the victors!

Thanks mate yes could not agree more with your victors write history comment :good:
The footage just leant to the way I cut it due to what I had.

Being on the receiving end I can tell you the weather was not almost ideal...judging by the amount of blood I'd say it was more than ideal. Just a request, when you can see all of someones body don't aim for them ear haha

Yep I think Matt (biguk) is doing a 'Gulch' ribbon. Stay tuned, I'll find out what's happening...

Can we make sure it's actually one off that website so I can buy one off the fella, the RTC ribbon wasn't on the list.

*edit* Just checked, i would change that banner colour to an earlier ribbon of service, not of chivalry... there may still be veterans alive today who have been awarded that for doing something very brave. All of the other ribbons are from conflicts pre 1900.

Would suggest you use 1 of the campaign medals from earlier like this 1

Brits! In the field! :o (Now we have to shoot you carly  )

Though why am I smiling like a fool? That isn't a commando glower at all... What with that and my camp cockney accent I have some work to do.

I'm waiting for Neil's picture of the Brits... Think we look smartest in that one.-- attachment is not available --
