I've PMd Jimjogg and had no reply. No surprise there then.

Will text him today and sort something out.

What sort of time will we all be able to get there?

I can get there for any time really. Happy to "car pool" again with Jay and Dave (and Guy), if they want to.

Guy is dropping Sarah off at the airport (Stansted I think he said) and should be able to get to the site for 1pm. I think he was going to liaise with Jay about picking him up/meeting en-route.

As for me - any time. No problem getting there earlier than 1pm as there is mapping to be done - I'd like to do large scale maps for planning that we can scribble all over. I'm sure Jamie said the map he had wasn't accurate but with a bit of site walking we can correct the large scale version and mark areas out of bounds etc.

An approximate ETA for this would be good.

BTW, if any of you fancy coming up the night before, Hot Ginger is on the night before and Helga and Che are coming along too.

Wifelet is out of intensive care now and in an ordinary ward but they won't be operating until Thursday at the earliest which may well mean she will be coming home at the weekend. Things are in a state of flux so at the moment I can't say for definite that I will or won't be able to make it. Sorry!

Gall bladder/stones blockage that infected liver/gall bladder/pancreas - proper ill for 8 days. Everything is under control now though, infection clearing up, another CT scan today and enforced hospitalised R&R to be fit enough for operation at the end of this week (hopefully). A right kerfuffle.

Bloody hell Dave! I hope the missus makes a speedy recovery!

Is it worth postponing the site visit until we can all be there?

'Kin hell Dave. I hope she gets well soon. Pass on our regards.

Yes, I do think it would be better to have us all there.

The next opportunity will be November 22nd though. I can make that, but it'd have to be in the afternoon.

I can't do 22nd November, I'm off on a long, dirty weekend with the missus. Can't get out of it, as it's the first time we've been away for 2 years!

I think its probably best then to press ahead with the 8th as planned. I'll do my level best to be there - the latest as of this evening is that she isn't having the CT scan done until the end of the week now (as they have to let the swelling go done to see anything useful). I can't see them operating over the weekend so I'm guessing that will be next week now.
