That's it - Diggah's found a replacement so we are at 20 + 20.

I do have Lardarsemonkey's cheque (for German place) which he is happy for me to keep hold of should a dropout occur....

In additon to the list we have Yith and Gadge. Yith will have to play German of course. 20 + 1

Jay and Guy will be German = 20 + 3

Me and HS will be US = 20 + 2

I wonder if Gadge would be US to even things up? Hmm, doubt it. That would mean Germans 20 + 4 with Lardarse on standby.

RE: Yith and Gadge, if they want the free places they'll have to play on whatever side we ask them to. I can't play as a Yank at their event so.....ner.

Surely they can wear their denisons for the morning.

Yes, they can both play Germans (as Brits) but we could do with one of them being a Yank, Yith wouldn't do it so I'll ask Gadge?

Right, a solution for Gadge and/or Yith - they will be Churchill's guard/escort. Wearing British battledress while under Allied control, swap to Denisons when/if Germans take control of Churchill. We will need a driver anyway so two problems solved at once.

He was OK, complained when he remembered  - he did stop at about 3.30 though and said he'd had enough.

Heh, I'm not sure I'm up to it! But I can't see it to be honest, if he does go I doubt he'd last the distance - not sure that it matters, he seems happy with sedentary/command roles...

Gadge has answered the question for you Guy - both he and Evo can't make Ostfront, so two Red Army down...

Back on topic - I have had a request for a 'standby place' for the US side. This would match with Lardarse's German standby place. Any objections if I increase the places to 21?

Looks like Gadge and Rich want to be Winston's bodyguards which works out pretty well.

By the way, I emailed Josh about Winston Churchill player but have heard nothing. Can anyone give him a nudge with a text?

Hang on, duplicating effort here Stephen - I have already briefed Rich on their roles in the game and have been liaising with Josh.

Oh, I was going by Gadge's post assuming it was serendipity, didn't know you had asked them to do it.

Regarding Josh, you said in the props discussion that I needed to get sizes off Josh to I could source a uniform. Are you already asking Josh to do this? If so that's fine, but I'll need the info pretty soon as I'm only have a limited amount of free days to trawl the charity shops.

No worries, my fault - I thought I had posted up Yith and Gadge's roles.
This way Yith doesn't play German (which he is unhappy about, even with a Denison) and Gadge doesn't have a lot of physical effort. And they can use their captains caps!

They can commandeer forces as they wish according to risk, drive the site, bidding Churchill's wishes (via our instructions).

I'll catch up with Josh as I need to sort out vehicle use...

OK cool.

Just tell him to reply to my email as I need waist, chest, collar, leg and head measurements!

Alternatively I might just buy a £15 suit from George at chAvSDA.

Heh, could we get away with just a black Cromby/Homburg/cigar?

Hmm, you really need at least the suit and iconic bow tie. The charity shops near me are pretty good so I should be able to sort out trousers, jacket, bow tie and hat (probably just a trilby or summit) for about £30.

The person can wear their own shirt and shoes.

We've got a load of money for this anyway don't we??
