Only 4 days to go and from watching A Bridge Too Far over the weekend, I am absolutely buzzing for this! Still a bit of kit to sort out, maybe some sowing required (booo!) but all in all, this is set to be a cracker - with a Friday night social too! :happyclap:

Even the weather looks set to be glorious! http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/6950979

I'd say after most of last night's weapons testing I'm a steady seven out of ten! Kit is all ready just need to sort out the camping gear.

Will pack my kit tonight I think. Will be good to break out the sten again, it's always been one of my favourite guns to use. I'm at a nice 6/10 at the moment.

Regards,

Ralph

Managed to get an early finish so I'll be on for the Friday night soiree. Really looking forward to this game, I love the 200 rounds per life games. The flow and ebb of the battle can change so quickly, great stuff! WW2 airsoft at it's best!

Getting there slowly, just another day and a half at work to survive.

I see the forecast for Saturday is now 21 degrees, so I'm thinking Aertex shirt under the denison. Did paras ever wear shorts at Arnhem?

Gear mostly packed, food bought. Batteries to charge tonight.

7

Cheers

Yep its going to be a warm one - everyone make sure that you bring enough water - its not fun getting dehydrated and running round wearing wool will increase the likelihood!

On the plus side, it should make the camping and the socials pleasant!

I won't wear anything underneath the denison. I'll soon get hot running around and crashing through bushes.

Still haven't packed all my kit but excitement is definitely growing to a nice 7. Might pack the kar98 and use it as a captured weapon.

Regards,

Ralph

Given that you're meant to be cut off, I guess using an enemy weapon would really fit the scenario well :D

Must remember with mine that the warm weather will in all likelihood increase the FPS, so will probably need to dial it down a touch

21 degrees  running around in full wools is going to be intersting!

Slowly getting kit togeather and repairing alot of my kit as it has just been left in a pile since bloodhound. Excitement factor is at a 7.5 at the moment :D

What's all this his running that people keep talking about? A pleasant tactical amble through the woods taking pot shots at the Bosh is more on the cards. Done the shopping now going to spend the day sorting and packing kit.
A happy 8 out of 10 :D

Oh yes, tactical amble will be the theme of the day. Along with sitting down as much as possible.

I'll leave running around to the under 50s.

No more floor space in the lounge... just come back from the shops with food and beverages... Damp maroon beret carefully molding on my head... I'd say I'm up to a good 8 at the moment.
