Hi gents, I've been banging on about the field divisions long enough but I think I'm winning

There is provision for a dedicated Luftwaffe Field division zug if we can get the numbers
Uniform:
At this stage of the war the field divisions were under Heer control and were equipped with Heer clothing, this provides a huge range of acceptable kit for a late war unit..
Helmet/headgear - can be any model and with either Heer/lufty decals or with a cover/net. Luftwaffe M43 caps can also be worn
Flieger/tunic - Luftwaffe fliegerblouse can be worn with either green collar tabs or just the gulls punched through the collar, as they were now under Heer control its common to see Heer tunics being worn
Trousers - Blaugrau M40 trousers were standard issue to Luftwaffe
Forward - jackboots or Low boots (with either Heer or lufty gaiters)
Webbing - brown or black leather with either Heer or lufty Y straps is common with an Luftwaffe buckle
Extras - there's countless photos of zelts being worn as camouflage or you can wear the field division jacket if you wish
There's very little that needs to be added if you already have a Heer uniform which makes this an ideal loadout to have as a secondary one
If anyone is interested in putting something together and even better wants to do it please speak up, the idea would be on looking more lufty than Heer but no one will be turned away
I need roughly 10 guys to make it possible
I'd like to eventually form a dedicated field division unit/zug/team that can do early/mid/late war so if that sounds like something your interested in please speak up

May be able to do this but I can't gaurrente it
No problem mate we'll sort something

still looking to set something up if anyone is still interested

will be posting up some kit guides etc in the coming weeks in the field division section of the forum if you fancy a change from heer/SS ![]()

I would still be up for it but would only invest in the tan camo jacket.
So trousers, bread bag and helmet would rather be Heer version.
Water bottle blue, luftwaffen belt and y-straps.
Jack boots as i dont have blue gaitors.

Sorts spot on! They were under Heer control at this point in the war so a right mix of kit can be seen

Nick, we need at least 5 to make this interesting. We would three more. L

There's a few guys I play with who aren't on the fourm who will be going as lufty so will easily hage 5

This is my tunic for this event - typical of late war Field Divisions heer tunic with the heer eagle removed and a lufty one replacing it , shoulder boards will be replaced with lufftwaffe ones with green piping and subdued tresse, still need to add a wound badge and luftwaffe ground assault badge

I am also thinking of getting LW FD kit together along with 2 others (Not for this game) but we were looking at the tan and Water jackets?
Are they an acceptable item of kit to have or just fantsey?
PS I have split the german sections on the booking thread at the moment for ease of administration. Don`t worry if you guys want to come as LW FD as I said I will section you together. ![]()

I'll dig through some photo's later but IIRC the tan and water smocks were very rare, splinter would be the best choice or a zelt in my opinion
Unfortunately i had to sell the tunic above as the car decided to die, but i will hopefully replace it in

I already have splinter that is why i would prefer tan. L
