great stuff, thanks for taking some Scott.
The cheap color film does have an old fashoined look to it...... Pretty pleased with it actually!
some vintage pictures.. ace!
some vintage pictures.. ace!
The colour ones were using expired Kodak ASA 400 film on a 1980's Canon camera. Got a nice look to them! The B+W were taken using Fuji Neopan 400.....
Nice pics, cheers

I have a small skewer hidden in the collar of my jumping jacket, and a razorblade in my gaiter, as well as my knife.
And three more

Hah, I bet that last one ends up as Craig's avatar at some point...
Why is he always photographed sitting, kneeling or lying down?
well it is a good one... ....
And the reason is because I die first, then others die, then they photograph me waiting to be alive again.... obviously.
And damn Charlie, one second too soon! I saw the camera and thought 'I will offer this prisoner water, so we can have a piccie that counteracts all this macho 'stress positions and cap 'im' jazz', and you take the pic so it looks like I am drinking the water and mocking him.
Sorry Craig, I know, I always seem to miss the right moment. I sensed there was to be an imminent but brief respite in the relentless mocking but totally failed to capture it.
Thank god we ultimately won and can decide what constitutes a war crime, but I'll destroy the negative just in case.

Apparently the prisoner tried to escape... at least that's what Craig told us after there was some gun fire...
Finally, my pics from The Mace.
“I wanted to come to the Volga at a specific location at a specific city. By chance it carries the name of Stalin himself. So don’t think I marched there for this reason – it could carry another name – but because there is a very important goal... this goal I wanted to take – and you know – we are very modest, we have it already."
Adolf Hitler, November 1942
"Comrades, Red Army men, commanders and political workers, men and women guerrillas! It is on your perseverance, staunchness, fighting skill and readiness to discharge your duty to the country that the defeat of the German-fascist army and the liberation of the Soviet land from the Hitlerite invaders depend! We can and must clear the Soviet land of Hitlerite vermin."
Joseph Stalin, November 1942
