Field gun now made.
Four radios and 'WW2' mikes checked and code-locked. I have a couple of message pads too, so Pete and I can waste time writing messages, sending them by runner to the radio man for transmission. "Send three and fourpence, we're going to a dance"
Maps nearly done for handing to players.
BedsnHerts hasn't picked up his PM I sent him asking to borrow a Heer crusher. Could you contact Andy and see if he has one to borrow Stephen?

Done. I've checked through all the pyro and sorted the set kit out. We have loads of squibs, about 15 x 5g charges and 1 x 20g. Boom!

Could I grab four of the 5g, a length of cable and a clacker please? I'll put them in a wooden crate with McV's blaster and we will pick them up with the mine detector when the Brits pass through the SZ heading for road 8. Something for the men to carry!
At the end of the day when you are settled at Merville you could use the squibs intermittently inside the building when you can (will sound louder) to simulate the battery firing. Otherwise, the 5g and 20g will be great in the woods for the initial mortar attack. How many gangs has the firing controller got, I can't remember.

20 gangs on the firer. I'll only do 6 I think. We've got a number of detonators, but I think we'll need new batteries for them.

I'll check and test the mine detector on Thursday. Should be ok but, better safe than sorry.

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Andy doesn't have a crusher.
Weather looks poor. Do you have a zelt I could borrow Dave?

Like the uniform you are wearing it is all sold. The zelt belongs to Tim (Pride) but I'm sure he won't mind! You can use my helmet - Martin still hasn't been to the forum for a while and looked at his PMs ![]()

Maps now done. Two radio packs made up - feather-light for
people.
All done now I think, bar getting all the shite I'm bringing fitted in the car!

I'll check and test the mine detector on Thursday. Should be ok but, better safe than sorry.
Who's got the metal plates for the mines?

I have them.
