Yes chaps, this is a bi-annual event, organised by a friend of mine, and what first introduced me to airsoft. It's an open invite to play a weekend of airsoft at Phoenix Urban site at Clay Cross, near Matlock / Chesterfield and we hope to get at least 50 people there.

Exelent. Do you know if phoenix are sorting acomodation on the site? They have for most of the weakenders I'v gone to.
Well, there is talk about the accommodation owned by the Scouts possibly being available, but it's not definite yet. However, having stayed there once, I would never stay there again - crammed 6 or so to a room, no hot food (unless you make it yourself and then have to wash up), showers don't work, no toilet paper, etc - for the price of

I take it this is a non WWII event , just a way for forum members to meet up and show off the kit in amongst a general weekends airsofting ? I'm taking it that it's two days rather than 24 hour overnight event ?

Come on guys! They're a great bunch of guys, and it might persuade a few of them to finally take the plunge, if there's a few of us in WW2 uniform.

Just checked my diary(Yeah Right- I Remebered a Do) Im at Hardwick hall for the Para Reg. Asscn. Do on the sunday so Ill be attending as Brit Airborne - South Staffs But ill be unable to attend at all on sunday. Is this ok mate.

Yes Syd, there is still room. I don't know anything about the marshalling, I'm afraid - it's being organised by the bloke who runs my airsoft team. However, he is very hot on honesty, and having gone to a number of these weekenders before, I can say they've all been good.
