Sorry guys but this event has been canceled due to a lack of interest from many of the regulars, plus it was decided that more planning time was required to make sure it went smoothely. shame really as this is my local site. Wish that they had been shown this thread!

Yeah it really is a shame, as i know a lot of people that were looking forward to it.
From my experience with CiA and PBI, I'd just like to say that a properly themed game can't really survive on the attendance of only the regulars.
Regulars are rarely interested in anything but modern stuff or don't want to get uniforms (etc).
You need to be looking beyond the local area for players. Attract the enthusiasts... That's where websites like this one come in.
If regulars are interested, then great... but treat that as a bonus and don't count on them.
Yith you hit the nail on the head, their wasnt enough publicity, and the regulars were not willing to shell out for new uni's!
But it's weeks away yet!
