A great day today. Many thanks to all who took part, you looked the dogs danglies.

To all the Brits, great to play alongside with you. We really gelled as a group and I think the day will have proved very useful indeed.

And finally thanks to F&O for being excellent hosts as usual!

Don't forget Operation Varsity on the 30th March!

Cheers to Gadge, Yith (& Major) - thank you for the time and effort you put in preparation and execution of the day.
A very enjoyable Sunday - plenty of giggles and piss-takes along with the serious stuff, so a great mix.
As always, the chatting is just as important as the grafting!

Gadge got to shave his moustache off at the end of the day - not that you could see it, I had to fill it in with charcoal to make it visible

And the pay books are minty Evo - don't expect me to remember my army number though, I can't even remember my house number!

Thanks all for an enjoyable day :)

Have had a quick look at the photos that I took today (322) and there are some nice ones in there. Will get them sorted and online sometime during the week depending on work.

Put a few images up on the Kampfgruppe SS page, as things are getting cluttered around here! Thanks to all those that turned up and a big thanks to all the Guys at F&O for hosting us. Had a great time and hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Not wanting to let too much out of the bag, but Major will be sorting out the long awaited FIBUA TD at F&O's urban site near Manchester, probably in a couple of months time, big thanks again to all, even the Brits who we managed to tear up for A** paper once the SS recce group outflanked them and took them from behind. Cheers folks, nice one!

They didn't get far, our Bren group took them out straight after they had crossed the road! Meh, nice try, next time look left and right not just straight ahead at your target!

I'm amazed how we managed to get through the day with just one short burst of light rain - they had steady rain for most of the day just down the road in Derby!

Really excellent day, best yet for general camaraderie and teamwork.

Thanks especially to Gadge and Yith for their effort putting these things on, and Evo for the membership books which are a really nice touch. I, of course, memorised my number immediately upon issue.

Really hope there's no video of the marching practice or it could be seriously embarrasing for me - Anne would like to point out that she was OK though.

Pictures should be good too.

I was incredibly impressed with the turnout of PBI, i've seen less effort on proper re-enactors, the guys did us proud!

Cant wait to see Andy pics of it all.
