Great Pictures, great day! Fun and informative, just like to echo the comments made earlier, this was a great day and I would recommend as many of the allies to come along as possible to the next one! Well worth it!!! Thanks to the 3 instructors, definitely plated up the food for thought in how to conduct battle situations :)

Fantastic photos - the modern alcoholic beverages do look somewhat out of place though :P wish I could've come (damn work)!

Ah full time travel hadn't occured at that point hence some camp members  were not ready for transportation. Its an awkward complex and somewhat unusual experience that can only be done after the imbibing of the verbotten modern alkifrollics. The said alkifrollics assist in anethetising the person requiring time travel to prevent any untoward upset during transportation to the 1940s ;)

I guess its one of those things you just have to have done to truely understand what happens on one of these timetravelling CiA expeditions between the time space continuem

I would have posted earlier but I fell asleep when I got home! (combination of only 4 hours sleep the night before and a cold coming on, plus I'm getting on a bit now!).

It's good to see that people found the day useful and interesting. It's quite tricky from an instructional point of view to make any training "learnable" and relevant, so it's good that some of it sank in. I'm sure Stubblehopper and Gadge will echo me in thanking all who came for their efforts in applying what we were teaching.

Glad to see that I managed to take some half decent photos as well. Can't wait to see more, as well as the videos.

Indeed, the gusy took on a massive ammount of info in a short time and applied it to games wonderfully.

As i said to one group, if you can change formation on the move in dense woodland after 30 mins... you're doing something right :)

Everyone put maximum effort in and some of it was very hard work.

I was really impressed when chatting to some of the guys later in the day after the ambush exercises they refereed to stuff learnt in the cam lessons at the start of the day when evalutaitng how well the ambush had gone.

Everyone there was a credit to the hobby.

was great and the effort put in on the part of those organising/assisting with this went above and beyond. So spesh thanks and hopefully I shall remember a few things that amused me in the day.

Thanks should without a doubt go to Major for the pyros :D top show that last 50lber was fantastisch, not to mention allowing us/organising for us to camp on the F & O site on the Saturday night :D top show ol bean  Had a hoot, someone that is I guess my equal in humour stakes  Pass on a ta to sy too he did a good job at getting ya trews scrubbed up

Gadge not only for his insights but for bringing a small number of warhammer GWS minitures and a piece of foam for them to stand on so they didn't get soggy toes, but some comical stories as always ;) :D Most informative, and scarily the hand signals seem to have sunk in as my eldest went to bed by them  Still think its criminal for you to have so many ensembles and not share them :raspberry: you truely are Mr Benn

Hiede the rifle looks better than it does in the pictures, damn bloomin good :D again insightful info haven't worked out how to practise it with the kids yet but am sure I'll work it in somehow even if its on a shopping adventure

Stubblehopper, what can you say..... no I couldn't think of anything either  only kidding mate. Top man FRV & RV will be used am sure at home, you see this airsofting come pretending to be a soldier stuff really is multifunctional to me. Don't forget I want a play on that outfit when you get it

Porta just for being you, you had me in stitches at time, most memorable was the trench attack at the end of the day  complete lunacy but so comical from afar as I just had to watch having been hit :( OH and the comedy zigzag and throwing yourself into the tall grass  top effort

Anne for shouting sorry for shooting me, that made me smile and giggle :D and the Barry in the Anne smock and Anne in the Barry smock  am so glad zeltbahns as well as being the clothing of gods are universal cos I haven't got a clue whose is whose in our house

Lewis for well being the brunt of a lot of my jokes mainly surrounding him

Che for taking me there (see I haven't forgotton ;) and I may need a lift again ;) have to be nice once in a while huh  )

I could go on and on but thats maybes as am now being anethetised for the completetion of transportation back to 2007  who was the other person in our little band of merry men (and persons  ) ewart ? haven't forgotton you just stupidly never asked who you were and you had to suffer me all day

And Tiny if it makes you feel better you were with us briefly in thought, if only in humour  due to majors comment at the H & S brief stating "that one this morning was tiny" que me stating you weren't there
