The assault on the bren positoon was awesome, barry and anne copped it but as we were leaving dead player sin postion i managed to crew the bren just as four of em came charging forwards, it jammed with one assaulter still there and i manged to pul out my revolver and finsih the job
its was pretty hectic!

thats all well an good if you're lying down in a hidden part pmsl staying down does you no good at that point as I have found
Excellent day - thanks to all the organisers, and to our little squad, and not forgetting our adverseries too.
Funniest bit - AndyT's grenade throwing demonstration.
Best bit - the bombardment and german attack was fun (and tense), we got a few before a lovely looped grenade landed right in our foxhole. Fortunately Gadge jumped in to save the day.
The info was really useful - what we need now is lots of practice. Getting blown up at the end was a good way to ensure we won't forget it all in a hurry.
By the way, don't know about Helga, but it wasn't rohitnol or even chloroform, Anne really was grabbing a chance for a cat nap (we didn't get a wink the night before in our tent).

No the noise was the communical tent of herr steiners well that or didgeridoo danglos
Gawd lack of sleep was terrible, I think the biggest struggle of the day was when laying down in a soggy puddle forcing myself not to actually fall asleep amazing how well both me an Anne coped on complete sleep deprevation just shows the tough stuff us gurlies are made of huh Anne

rule no:1 about running at a machine gun nest you will be hit lots of times and it will hurt but on the up side you have a great story to tell after
