PM'd Gregg yesterday, he said he'd have it done back end of this week when he gets back from a job he's working on in London, should be some very good stills and a vid from all that footage he took, gotta say everybody really looked the part on the last ss patrol 100% effort all round, I was sitting in the trenches next to JD and Tony Gregory gritting his teeth behing the MG42(only cos' his helmet was too tight), it was something else!

Its a collection of parts, minus the working parts breech and barrel, my mate Mick, who's a wiz at this sort of thing is still working on it, we've had it firing with MP40 internals, but, the mech box is just a little too big, (about 20mm which means the top cover has to stay open) so we'll be fitting an M14 mech box instead, with a 650mm barrel and an up-graded spring. The ammo feed is a flexi tube lead with a servo fitted in the drum mag, still working out how to fit a tracer light unit, so we can fire flourecent BB's as tracers, should be ready well before "D" Day with a tri-pod or laffette and we'll be looking for a four man team to man it, and build an MG nest with sand bags and cammo nets.

I really need to get some down-the-sight's time with my K98 and D-Day sounds about right.

Not sure if i'll use my scope or just the iron sights, just wish I had somewhere to go and zero-in, hopup tweak, ammo decide.....

OH wait, hey Major can I do this at F&O

I have a larger back garden than the 'new build' policy, my house was built in the '50's, but alas a small number of neighbours seem to think I'm a 'killer' even if i go out the back with only my P08 to test fire

With Oct 1st on it's way, I guess it's time to stockpile AS weapons and testfire at F&O or take direct to a CiA event.

Although, I could increase the height of the fences around my property, maybe even add a guard tower?

Would make the local 'chavs' think not only twice but prolly 3 times about entering my 'domain' lol

del what you need to do, is put a small zero target at the end of the garden then fire through the back door from WELL within the house.

put a pillow behind the target so theres no impact sound either,

all any one will here is a phhuuuttt, from inside the house, put on a radio, no gun noise at all

Here is a link to all the training day images from Major's camera.

I'm working on making the gallery feature available for all forum members to use in due course.
