Hey all, I know little about US kit, but my local 'bargain factory' of a surplus store has just got in a load of "US Wool Shirt"s, which look like this:
They're quite thick wool (somewhat serge-y?), with large buttons - and so they look halfway between a Brit' wool shirt and a Brit serge BD blouse. Are these what are known as 'mustard' shirts? They may be post war - they're a slightly greeny-brown, like Brit' serge colour. They're only £10 each if anyone is interested and down this way...

Last time I was down there (about 1.5months ago) they still had them. Yes, with big buttons. They're near the lefthand end of the racking, of the right-most clothes racks as you walk through the door (opposite the wall with all the canvas bags on shelves).
