ok people, got one boot done tonight, will do the other over the weekend :good:

heres a quick step by step on how I did them :good:

first job is to drill the backs out of the original eyelets, use a slow speed drill to do this (cordless is ideal) and a drill bit just big enough to cut the lip on the eyelets, I used a 6mm HSS bit

next I used a 5mm bit to widen the holes a touch, taking off any loose leather with a sharp scapel, I then pushed the new eyelets through the hole, then used an old blunt screwdriver to push the leather down around the eyelet on the other side

I then used an eyelet setting tool from ebay (same vender I got the eyelets from)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 1330wt_905

then just repeat all the way round the boot :good:

In all, Im very happy with the way they have turned out :D although I think the new leather laces might be a bit short

just need to finish the other one now, then take em outside for a bloody good kicking  see how they hold up, then another polish etc to give em a bit of worn in look

will get some more pics up when they are a finished pair :good:

cheers
Rammix

I would buy some as well if the site would reply to my email for UK size 12.
As I don't know how to order from them and don't want to load Google chrome just for this.

have you tried to contact the seller about getting more in stock? if they are selling that quick now then they might be tempted to get more and also bigger sizes?
