You've not posted any decent images of a nape strap here. Do you mean chin strap?

The nape strap is visible in the far left of the first pic. It goes around the back of your head where it meets your neck...the nape of your neck!

Heh, I've worn the helmet for years without the nape strap. It will cost a fair bit to replace it, that's why I never bothered. It might be cheaper to find a cheap liner and pinch the bits from there. You will need a riveter of some sort to fix in place.
