I use SOF HBTs without issue, they are work-wear so I get them pretty mucky pretty quickly.

I read a chap say the best M41s were ATF. Personally I have one from SoF, which is a sturm with too short eppaulettes, the wrong lining and the wrong colour buttons.

and the wrong colour buttons.

Wrong colour for what?
I've quite a few sets of original buttons in a wide range of sizes and I bet none of the sets match any of the others in colour.
Brown shades are predominant in small shirt buttons, some are close to orange but the greens start when you get up to M43 sizes.
One part of American kit I wouldn't worry about is the colour of the buttons.
There is quite a range of colour for plastic GS buttons too, bright green to chocolate brown.

Oh I know... I only put buttons for completeness... I am actually perfectly happy with the buttons on my field jacket. A bit disappointed with the eappaulettes now I understand the difference and actually not too bothered about the lining as it's nice and soft and it'd be nice to avoid wool for once!
