hi mate, i got mine from epicmilitaria and never had a problem with it, no split stitching and it gets used almost every time i go airsofting (so about once a month for a year and half) a few companies use the same suppliers so there is probably no difference just the packaging.
i found these on militarianet

they will save you about 50 quid but im not sure on the quality of these
hope it helps
Go for the M43 suit, it's more versatile.
Or try an un-reenforced M42?
A re-enforced M42 is correctly a Normandy only thing. One unit I think went to Holland in M42 but most Airborne Regiments wore the M43 from August '44 to the wars end.
The M42 without re-enforcement was used by the 82nd in Sicily, Normandy, some 101st wore them in Normandy and the guys who jumped on Dragoon 1st ABTF had them often camoed with black and green paint.
Just offering options, you can be different and still fit in.
If you really want the best M42 rather than the cheapest I can highly recommend the At the Front version.

Yup, it's better to get a better quality one than a cheap one. The stitching on some makes can be very poor. My butt used to continually be shown out the back of my SOF ones as they split on almost evertime I wore them, that may be down to poor judgement in weight on my account though
